Anti-HNRNPA2B1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A2/B1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 353 amino acid residues and a mass of 37.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 2 different isoforms for this protein. Among its functions, HNRNPA2B1 is involved with mRNA processing and RNA splicing. Post-translational modifications have been described, including sumoylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include HNRNPB1, HNRPA2, HNRPA2B1, HNRPB1, IBMPFD2, RNPA2, SNRPB1, and HNRNPA2.
