Anti-MAPKK6 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MAPKK6 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MAP2K6 gene, which encodes mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 6. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and bone development, among other biological roles. The human version of MAPKK6 has a canonical amino acid length of 334 residues and a protein mass of 37.5 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as MEK6. Western Blot is the most common application for the MAPKK6 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
