Anti-IA4 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the IA4 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ITGA4 gene, which encodes integrin subunit alpha 4. This protein is known to function in B cell differentiation and cell adhesion, among other biological roles. The human version of IA4 has a canonical amino acid length of 1032 residues and a protein mass of 114.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane of cells. IA4 is a member of the Integrin alpha chain protein family.
