Anti-S100A10 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein S100 calcium binding protein A10. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 97 amino acid residues and a mass of 11.2 kDa. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the S-100 protein family, S100A10 is known to be involved with the regulation of transcription. Synonyms for this target antigen include ANX2L, ANX2LG, CAL1L, CLP11, Ca[1], GP11, P11, and 42C. S100A10 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Over 200 citations in the literature describe the use of S100A10 antibodies in research. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
