Anti-ERBB2IP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ERBB2IP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ERBIN gene, which encodes erbb2 interacting protein. This protein is known to function in cell adhesion and TNF-mediated cellular signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of ERBB2IP has a canonical amino acid length of 1412 residues and a protein mass of 158.3 kilodaltons, although 9 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cell membrane of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. ERBB2IP is a member of the LAP (LRR and PDZ) protein family.
