Anti-acyloxyacyl hydrolase (neutrophil) antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the acyloxyacyl hydrolase (neutrophil) antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the AOAH gene, which encodes acyloxyacyl hydrolase. This protein is known to function in fatty acid metabolism, among other biological roles. The human version of acyloxyacyl hydrolase (neutrophil) has a canonical amino acid length of 575 residues and a protein mass of 65.1 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles and is secreted of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types.
