Anti-Wilms Tumor 1 antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene WT1, or 'WT1 transcription factor' in humans. The 449-amino acid protein is a member of the EGR C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic and nuclear.
