Anti-VEGFR1 antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene FLT1, or 'fms related tyrosine kinase 1' in humans. The 1338-amino acid protein is a member of the Protein kinase superfamily, Tyr protein kinase family, CSF-1/PDGF receptor subfamily. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic, membrane-associated and secreted. Glycosylation sites have been reported.
