Anti-PREF1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The PREF1 antigen is another term for the human protein delta like non-canonical Notch ligand 1, encoded by the DLK1 gene. The protein is suspected to have a role in neuroendocrine differentiation. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 383 residues and a mass of 41.3 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane and cytoplasm and it is expressed in the ovary, nasopharynx, colon, bronchus, and adrenal gland. Other alias names for PREF1 include DLK, Delta1, and FA1. Some PREF1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
