Anti-LZIP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the LZIP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CREB3 gene, which encodes cAMP responsive element binding protein 3. This protein is known to function in chemotaxis and the regulation of apoptosis, among other biological roles. The human version of LZIP has a canonical amino acid length of 371 residues and a protein mass of 41.4 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER and Golgi of cells. Other names for this target antigen include LUMAN and sLZIP. Indicated applications for LZIP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
