The gene may also be known as Galpha 13, Galpha13, G13, guanine nucleotide-binding protein subunit alpha-13, and g alpha-13. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 44.1 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
