Anti-CXXC motif containing zinc binding protein antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the CZIB gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 160 amino acid residues and a mass of 18 kDa. It is a member of the UPF0587 protein family. Other names for this target antigen include C1orf123 and UPF0587 protein C1orf123. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
