Anti-olfactory receptor family 1 subfamily S member 1 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the OR1S1 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 325 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, it is known to be involved with signal transduction pathways. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Other names for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 1S1 and olfactory receptor OR11-232.
