Anti-pregnancy specific beta-1-glycoprotein 7 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the PSG7 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 419 amino acid residues and a mass of 47 kDa. It is known to be a secreted protein. A member of the CEA protein family, it is known to be involved with signal transduction pathways. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Other names for this target antigen include PSBG-7, PSG1, PSGGA, pregnancy-specific glycoprotein 7, putative pregnancy-specific beta-1-glycoprotein 7, and PS-beta-G-7.
