Anti-olfactory receptor family 51 subfamily G member 1 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the OR51G1 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 321 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Other names for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 51G3, olfactory receptor OR11-29, and olfactory receptor 51G1. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species.
