Anti-FKBP prolyl isomerase 2 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the FKBP2 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 142 amino acid residues and a mass of 15.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER. It is a member of the FKBP-type PPIase protein family. Other names for this target antigen include FKBP13, PPIase, peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase FKBP2, 13 kDa FK506-binding protein, 13 kDa FKBP, and FKBP-13. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species.
