Anti-H1.10 linker histone antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the H1-10 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 213 amino acid residues and a mass of 22.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and chromosomes. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. It is a member of the Histone H1/H5 protein family. Other names for this target antigen include H1FX, H1X, histone H1.10, H1 histone family member X, histone H1x, and H1.10. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
