Anti-TUB like protein 2 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the TULP2 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 520 amino acid residues and a mass of 58.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm and is secreted. It is reported to be highly expressed in the testis. It is a member of the TUB protein family. Other names for this target antigen include TUBL2, tubby-related protein 2, cancer testis antigen 65, tubby like protein 2, and CT65. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species.
