Anti-YAE1 maturation factor of ABCE1 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the YAE1 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 226 amino acid residues and a mass of 25.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 2 different isoforms for this protein. Other names for this target antigen include YAE1, ABCE1 maturation factor, Yae1 domain containing 1, yae1 domain-containing protein 1, and protein YAE1 homolog. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
