Anti-FKBP prolyl isomerase 3 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the FKBP3 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 224 amino acid residues and a mass of 25.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is a member of the FKBP-type PPIase protein family. Other names for this target antigen include FKBP25, PPIase, peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase FKBP3, 25 kDa FK506-binding protein, 25 kDa FKBP, and FKBP-25. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
