Anti-Squamous cell carcinoma-related oncogene antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Squamous cell carcinoma-related oncogene is a known alias name of the protein defective in cullin neddylation 1 domain containing 1, encoded by the DCUN1D1 gene in humans. This protein has a canonical amino acid length of 259 residues and a mass of 30.1 kDa. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the pancreas, kidney, placenta, brain and heart.
