Anti-Phospholipase A2 receptor 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene PLA2R1 in humans. The gene may also be known as PLA2IR, PLA2R, phospholipase A2 receptor 1, 180kDa, CLEC13C, PLA2-R, and secretory phospholipase A2 receptor. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 168.6 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
