Anti-G Antigen 7 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the GAGE7 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 117 amino acid residues and a mass of 13 kDa. It is reported to be expressed in some prostate cancer tissues but not in normal prostate tissue. It is a member of the GAGE protein family. Other names for this target antigen include CT4.7, cancer/testis antigen 4.7, cancer/testis antigen family 4, member 7, and AL4. Some G Antigen 7 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Flow Cytometry, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
