Anti-AMF1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the AMF1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GPS2 gene, which encodes G protein pathway suppressor 2. This protein is known to function in the differentiation of certain cell types, among other biological roles. The human version of AMF1 has a canonical amino acid length of 327 residues and a protein mass of 36.7 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus, mitochondria, and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types.
