Anti-fbxl-1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the fbxl-1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SKP2 gene, which encodes S-phase kinase associated protein 2. This protein is known to function in innate immune responses, among other biological roles. The human version of fbxl-1 has a canonical amino acid length of 424 residues and a protein mass of 47.8 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the fallopian tube and placenta.
