Anti-Swiprosin-1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Swiprosin-1 antigen is another term for the human protein EF-hand domain family member D2, encoded by the EFHD2 gene. The protein is believed to regulate B-cell receptor (BCR)-induced immature and primary B-cell apoptosis. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 240 residues and a mass of 26.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane and it is expressed in many tissues, such as the duodenum and lymph node.
