Anti-chst-1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target chst-1 is a known alias name of the protein carbohydrate sulfotransferase 1, encoded by the CHST1 gene in humans. This 411-amino acid residue protein is a reported sulfotransferase that utilizes 3'-phospho-5'-adenylyl sulfate (PAPS) as sulfonate donor to catalyze the transfer of sulfate to position 6 of internal galactose (Gal) residues of keratan. It is localized to the Golgi of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications.
