Anti-CYRIA antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein CYFIP related Rac1 interactor A. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 323 amino acid residues and a mass of 37.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the CYRI protein family, CYRIA is believed to negatively regulate RAC1 signaling and RAC1-driven cytoskeletal remodeling (Probable). Synonyms for this target antigen include family with sequence similarity 49 member A and protein FAM49A. CYRIA gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species.
