Anti-cell migration inducing protein, hyaluronan binding antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target cell migration inducing protein, hyaluronan binding is a known alias name of the protein cell migration inducing hyaluronidase 1, encoded by the CEMIP gene in humans. This 1361-amino acid residue protein is known to mediate depolymerization of hyaluronic acid (HA) via the cell membrane-associated clathrin-coated pit endocytic pathway. It is localized to the cell membrane, nucleus, ER, cytoplasm, and is secreted of the cell and features N-glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in dermal and in synovial fibroblasts. Other synonyms for cell migration inducing protein, hyaluronan binding include cell migration-inducing, and hyaluronan-binding protein, cell migration inducing hyaluronan binding protein, and cell migration inducing protein, hyaluronan binding.
