Anti-B-cell receptor-associated protein 29 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the B-cell receptor-associated protein 29 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the BCAP29 gene, which encodes B cell receptor associated protein 29. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and Golgi transport, among other biological roles. The human version of B-cell receptor-associated protein 29 has a canonical amino acid length of 241 residues and a protein mass of 28.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. B-cell receptor-associated protein 29 is a member of the BCAP29/BCAP31 protein family.
