Anti-PPP1R2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein protein phosphatase 1 regulatory inhibitor subunit 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 205 amino acid residues and a mass of 23 kDa. A member of the Protein phosphatase inhibitor 2 protein family, PPP1R2 is known as an inhibitor of protein-phosphatase 1. Post-translational modifications have been described, including phosphorylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include IPP2, PPP1R2A, protein phosphatase inhibitor 2, phosphoprotein phosphatase, and IPP-2. PPP1R2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some PPP1R2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
