Anti-STYK1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein serine/threonine/tyrosine kinase 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 422 amino acid residues and a mass of 47.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. A member of the Tyr protein kinase protein family, STYK1 is a suspected tyrosine protein-kinase, which has strong transforming capabilities on a variety of cell lines. Synonyms for this target antigen include novel oncogene with kinase domain, protein PK-unique, and tyrosine-protein kinase STYK1. STYK1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some STYK1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
