Anti-HDGFL3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein HDGF like 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 203 amino acid residues and a mass of 22.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is notably expressed in the testis, heart, spinal cord and brain. A member of the HDGF protein family, HDGFL3 is known to be involved with chromatin remodeling and neuronal development. Synonyms for this target antigen include HDGF-2, HDGF2, HDGFRP3, HRP-3, hepatoma-derived growth factor-related protein 3, and CGI-142. HDGFL3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some HDGFL3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
