Anti-WISP1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the WISP1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CCN4 gene, which encodes cellular communication network factor 4. This protein is known to function in bone development and cell adhesion, among other biological roles. The human version of WISP1 has a canonical amino acid length of 367 residues and a protein mass of 40.3 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be a secreted protein. This target antigen may also be known as WISP1-OT1. A number of WISP1 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
