Anti-dipeptidase 1 (renal) antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target dipeptidase 1 (renal) is a known alias name of the protein dipeptidase 1, encoded by the DPEP1 gene in humans. This 411-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in inflammatory response pathways, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the lung and kidneys. Other synonyms for dipeptidase 1 (renal) include MBD1, MDP, and RDP.
