Anti-GXYLT1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein glucoside xylosyltransferase 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 440 amino acid residues and a mass of 50.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is a member of the Glycosyltransferase 8 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include glycosyltransferase 8 domain containing 3 and glycosyltransferase 8 domain-containing protein 3. GXYLT1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. These GXYLT1 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
