Anti-FKH1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the FKH1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the FOXO1 gene, which encodes forkhead box O1. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and autophagy pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of FKH1 has a canonical amino acid length of 655 residues and a protein mass of 69.7 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bronchus, tonsil, and appendix. This target antigen may also be known as FKHR. Western Blot is the most common application for the FKH1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
