Anti-GnT-III antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target GnT-III is a known alias name of the protein beta-1,4-mannosyl-glycoprotein 4-beta-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase, encoded by the MGAT3 gene in humans. This 533-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the regulation of the biosynthesis and biological function of glycoprotein oligosaccharides. It is localized to the Golgi of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for GnT-III include GNT3 and GlcNAc-T III. Indicated applications for GnT-III antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
