Anti-VAT1L antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein vesicle amine transport 1 like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 419 amino acid residues and a mass of 45.9 kDa. It is notably expressed in skin fibroblasts. It is a member of the Zinc-containing alcohol dehydrogenase protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include vesicle amine transport protein 1 homolog (T. californica)-like, vesicle amine transport protein 1 homolog-like (T. californica), and synaptic vesicle membrane protein VAT-1 homolog-like. VAT1L gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some VAT1L antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for these antibodies.
