Anti-SELENOH antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein selenoprotein H. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 122 amino acid residues and a mass of 13.5 kDa. A member of the SelWTH protein family, SELENOH is suspected to be involved in a redox-related process. SELENOH gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some SELENOH antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunocytochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
