Anti-MYBPHL antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein myosin binding protein H like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 354 amino acid residues and a mass of 38.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is found to be expressed in the heart, with higher expression in the atria. A member of the MyBP protein family, MYBPHL is reported to be a myosin-binding protein, which plays a role in cardiac function. MYBPHL gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for MYBPHL antibodies.
