Anti-MCRIP2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein MAPK regulated corepressor interacting protein 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 160 amino acid residues and a mass of 17.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is a member of the MCRIP protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include family with sequence similarity 195, member A and protein FAM195A. MCRIP2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some MCRIP2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
