Anti-HSD11B1L antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein hydroxysteroid 11-beta dehydrogenase 1 like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 315 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.3 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. Up to 8 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is a member of the Short-chain dehydrogenases/reductases (SDR) protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include 11-beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 3, short chain dehydrogenase/reductase 10, short chain dehydrogenase/reductase family 26C member 2, and hydroxysteroid 11-beta-dehydrogenase 1-like protein. HSD11B1L gene orthologs have been reported in the bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the HSD11B1L antibodies listed below. ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
