Anti-DExD-box helicase 50 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the DDX50 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 737 amino acid residues and a mass of 82.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is a member of the DEAD box helicase protein family. Other names for this target antigen include DEAD (Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp) box polypeptide 50, DEAD box protein 50, DEAD-box helicase 50, RNA helicase II/Gu beta, gu-beta, and ATP-dependent RNA helicase DDX50. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Some DExD-box helicase 50 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
