Anti-CWC25 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein CWC25 spliceosome associated protein homolog. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 425 amino acid residues and a mass of 49.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the CWC25 protein family, CWC25 is known to be involved in pre-mRNA splicing as component of the spliceosome. Synonyms for this target antigen include pre-mRNA-splicing factor CWC25 homolog, coiled-coil domain-containing protein 49, and CCDC49. CWC25 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the CWC25 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
