Anti-BICDL2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein BICD family like cargo adaptor 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 508 amino acid residues and a mass of 56.8 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the BICDR protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include BICD-related protein 2, bicaudal D-related protein 2, coiled-coil domain containing 64B, coiled-coil domain-containing protein 64B, and BICD family-like cargo adapter 2. BICDL2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the BICDL2 antibodies listed below. Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
