Anti-ATCAY, caytaxin antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ATCAY, caytaxin is a known alias name of the protein ATCAY kinesin light chain interacting caytaxin, encoded by the ATCAY gene in humans. This 371-amino acid residue protein is reported to function in the development of neural tissues, particularly the postnatal maturation of the cerebellar cortex. It is localized to the cell projections, mitochondria, and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated and cleaved post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the rectum, cerebral cortex, and cerebellum. Other synonyms for ATCAY, caytaxin include caytaxin and BNIP-2-homolgy.
