Anti-POLDIP3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein DNA polymerase delta interacting protein 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 421 amino acid residues and a mass of 46.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. Post-translational modifications have been described, including phosphorylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include 46 kDa DNA polymerase delta interaction protein, RNA-binding protein P46, S6K1 Aly/REF-like target, polymerase (DNA) delta interacting protein 3, and polymerase delta-interacting protein 3. POLDIP3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of POLDIP3 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
