In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 377 amino acid residues and a mass of 40.8 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Short-chain dehydrogenases/reductases (SDR) protein family, DHRS13 is believed to be a type of oxidoreductase.
