Anti-PR/SET domain 10 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the PRDM10 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1147 amino acid residues and a mass of 130.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 7 different isoforms for this protein. A member of the Class V-like SAM-binding methyltransferase protein superfamily, it is suspected to be involved in transcriptional regulation. Other names for this target antigen include PR domain 10, PR domain containing 10, PR domain-containing protein 10, PR-domain family member 7, PRDM zinc finger transcription factor, and PR domain zinc finger protein 10. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some PR/SET domain 10 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
